Presentation Title:

What to do with modifiable factors contributing to pain severity in patients with trapeziometacarpal osteoarthrosis?

Abstract

Trapeziometacarpal osteoarthritis (TMO) is one of the most common and painful forms of hand osteoarthritis. According to our 2023 study, several biopsychosocial factors are associated with pain severity and hand disability in TMO, some of which are modifiable. This presentation will outline these factors and discuss interventions aimed at addressing them.
