Abstract
Case report: A male patient aged 33years
presented to us with 18 months history of
impingement. Fat pad impingement in the
olecranon fossa was confirmed in magnetic
resonance. Elbow arthroscopy revealed locking of
the fat pad in the rent of the olecranon.
Arthroscopic debridement of the fat pad relieved
his symptoms
Conclusion: Minimal invasive procedure such as elbow arthroscopy shall help after confirming the diagnosis.

Jeevan Pereira is consultant in the Department of
Orthopaeics in Yenepoya, Mangalore, India. Hes
interested in cartilage related injuries, arthroscopy
and sports medicine related injuries. He has over
